Blog Flash 2012: Day 26

This is the twenty-sixth entry out of the thirty I'm attempting.  It is part of a series of thirty entries so I hope you'll read each daily post to find out what happens in the end.
Thank you for reading!

26. Seeing

One could call Alisa Sheffield curious; she’d been unhappy with a husband beloved by London, had unusually cheery household staff, and more severely, spent an uncommonly long period of time watching an estate.
The gardens were being extended, and the windows polished. Inside, she didn’t know what there was, but she was seeing something. She wanted to roam the chambers, learn of the hung paintings, and sit at the tables.
That she even dreamt of that, and doing all of the above with the owner, terrified her to no end.
She was helpless now, in love for the second time.
